Do you look at the label of drinks before purchasing them?
You should. The amount of sugar in many of our drinks is far more than we should consume in a day.
From sports drinks to fruit juices, the sugar adds up.
According to Yale University, active teen girls should have no more than 10 teaspoons of sugar a day and teen boys no more than 16 teaspoons. But some commercially available beverages have more than 16 teaspoons of sugar in a single can or bottle.
