Tanner Looking for Instructors to Teach Wellness Programs

Do you like to teach and have a passion for healthy living? Do you have a desire to help people transform their lives? Tanner Health System’s Get Healthy, Live Well is looking for instructors to help lead its evidence-based wellness programs.

Those selected will receive a stipend. A background in health or education is a plus.

Help people quit using tobacco by teaching them skills for coping with cravings as a facilitator for Freshstart tobacco cessation classes. Become a Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) lifestyle coach and help participants develop the skills needed to delay or prevent diabetes.

Leaders are also needed for Get Healthy, Live well’s Living Well self-management classes. The Living Well with Diabetes program helps participants learn how to manage diabetes. The Living Well Workshop helps participants manage any health condition, including but not limited to: arthritis, being overweight, cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), depression, fibromyalgia, heart disease, high blood pressure, lung disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke and more.
