Tanner Health System and Carrollton DawnBreakers to Hold Toys for Tots Drive on Dec. 14

Tanner Health System is partnering with Carrollton DawnBreakers Rotary to collect new, unwrapped toys for the U.S Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program at Walmart on Highway 27 in Carrollton on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tanner and Dawnbreakers Rotary volunteers will be at Walmart—look for Tanner’s big, green mobile clinic—to accept toy donations, which will provide Christmas presents and a message of hope to thousands of needy youngsters in west Georgia.
While donating, you’ll enjoy holiday music, have a chance to spin the Tanner prize wheel, learn more about Get Healthy West Georgia’s upcoming 2014 Weight Loss Challenge and sign the Rotarians Against Distracted Driving (RADD) pledge board.
Area residents who are unable to participate in the toy drive on Dec. 14 can help by donating toys at one of three drop boxes inside Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton through Friday, Dec. 20. The drop boxes are at easy-to-access locations in the Dixie Street atrium, the Clinic Avenue atrium and the Tanner Café.
