Shared Loss Grows Into a Family of Friends

The latest issue of Heart to Heart, the newsletter of Tanner Hospice Care, explores the inspiring friendship Nancy Hurston, Carole Crook and Ron Maze, three friends whose bond grew from a shared sense of loss.
They met and became friends at Tanner Hospice Care’s grief support group following the loss of their spouses. They have supported one another through many challenging phases, and they now describe themselves “as close as a lot of brothers and sisters.”.
