Rheumatologist Angela Pham, MD, Establishes Tanner Rheumatology Specialists

Carrollton rheumatology specialist Angela Pham, MD, has established Tanner Rheumatology Specialists, a part of Tanner Medical Group, where she continues to serve on the medical staff of Tanner Health System.
Dr. Pham is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She also completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. She previously served as a hospitalist with Tanner Intensive Medical Services, providing care to inpatients at Tanner’s hospital facilities.
In her role as a hospitalist, Dr. Pham noticed the need for rheumatology services in the region, and returned to training, completing a fellowship in rheumatology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and becoming board-certified in rheumatology. She most recently practiced in Carrollton as part of the Physicians Care Group of West Georgia.
Tanner Rheumatology Specialists offers specialized care for a host of common medical conditions, including, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoarthritis, several types of inflammatory diseases and more.
The new practice is located at 905 Dixie Street, Suite B, sharing the facility with Tanner Primary Care of Carrollton. Nurse practitioner Cristal Rush, FNP, is also joining Dr. Pham in the new practice.
