Greater access to gastroenterological care is coming to the region as Peter Ojuro, DO, joins the patient care team at West Georgia Gastroenterology Associates.
Dr. Ojuro is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He’s trained and experienced in the latest approaches to diagnose and treat problems with the liver and digestive system, finding the cause and overseeing treatments to help patients live fuller, more active lives with fewer digestive symptoms.
Dr. Ojuro is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. He completed his internship and residency at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital in Detroit, Mich., and a fellowship in internal medicine at St. John Providence Health System’s Osteopathic Division at Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Mich. Dr. Ojuro previously practiced at Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, N.Y., and Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga.
