Mark your calendars for these upcoming events benefiting local cancer patients and providing assistance to area women to receive mammograms!

Steps To Help Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Saturday, Oct. 5, (Run 7:00 a.m. CT / Walk 9:00 a.m. CT) - Ranburne High School, Ranburne AL
Benefitting the Tanner Breast Health Patient Care Products Fund and Steel Magnolias
This fun walk/run raises money and awareness “to stamp out Breast Cancer.” There is a $10 registration fee to run or walk, and free t-shirts will be given for donations of $25 or more. Teams of 12 or more are encouraged and a trophy will be given to the team who raises the most money! For more information, please call 770-710-6908.

Bikers Battling Breast Cancer ‘It’s All About Music and the Cause’
Saturday, Oct. 12, starting at 12:00 p.m. – B3 Bar & Grill, Veterans Memorial Hwy, Austell
Benefitting the Bikers Battling Breast Cancer Fund at Tanner Medical Foundation
A day of fabulous music and prizes all for $10. Music schedule features nine bands performing almost hourly from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. including Dustin Benefield Solo, FLH Band and Patterson West. (Full list of performers at www.BikersBattlingBreastCancer.org.)

West Georgia Technical College’s 2nd Annual Hoops for Hope  
Saturday, Oct. 19, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Mountain Academy
This classic basketball tournament raises funds to benefit area Breast Cancer Research and Awareness. Additional information to be announced.

“Who Dun Stole the Bride” Delicious Desserts and Hillbilly Humor
Saturday, Oct. 26, 5:00 p.m. CT / 6:00 p.m. ET - Freedom Baptist Church, Ranburne, AL
This evening of fun, mystery and dessert is part of the “Steps to Help” fundraising effort benefitting the Tanner Breast Health Patient Care Products Fund at Tanner Medical Foundation and Steel Magnolias. Guests will enjoy an entertaining, down home play and over dessert, decide who they think “… Dun Stole the Bride” Tickets are $10 and available by calling 770-710-6908. West Georgia Ambulance’s Annual Ruby S. Green Yard Sale
Saturday, Nov. 2, 8:00 a.m. - West Georgia Ambulance 1952 North Highway 27 In Carrollton
Don’t miss one of the best annual yard sales in Carrollton, the Annual Ruby Sue Green Yard Sale For Breast Cancer. All money stays local for a Tanner Medical Foundation fund established In memory Of Ruby Sue Green, a West Georgia Ambulance employee who lost her battle with breast cancer.
