Anderson’s Florist “Blooms of Hope”
Throughout October
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Anderson’s Florist will donate $2 - $4 to Tanner’s Mammogram Assistance Fund for each “Blooms of Hope” arrangement sold in October. Arrangements range from $15 to $50 (Anderson’s Florist, 770-834-7673 / 502 Dixie Street, Carrollton.)

Carrollton Civic Women's Club Salad Luncheon
Tuesday Oct. 7, 11:00 a.m. - First United Methodist Church
Luncheon begins at 11 a.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door ($10) Bake sale proceeds benefit Tanner’s Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.

Throw Down for Your Hometown Dance Marathon
Saturday Oct. 11, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Valet Overflow Parking Lot (Corner of Dixie St. & Ambulance Dr.)
A morning of Zumba inspired fitness led by instructor, Joanna Smith benefiting Tanner’s Cancer Patient Assistance Fund. ($10) Choirs for Cancer tickets will also be sold at this event.

Downtown Merchant Day of Hope
Saturday Oct. 11 - Downtown Carrollton
Shop and dine with these downtown Carrollton merchants on Oct. 11 and a portion of proceeds will help local cancer patients through Tanner’s Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.

Steps to Help Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Saturday, Oct. 18, (Fun Run 7:00 a.m. CT/ Walk 9:00 a.m. CT) - Ranburne High School, Ranburne, AL
This walk/run raises money and awareness “to stamp out Breast Cancer” benefiting the Tanner Breast Health Patient Care Products Fund and Steel Magnolias. $10 registration fee to run or walk / free t-shirts for donations of $25 or more. Teams of 12+ are encouraged and a trophy will be given to the team who raises the most money! For more information, call 770-710-6908.

West Georgia Technical College’s 3rd Annual Hoops for Hope
Saturday, Oct. 25, (First tip of at 10 a.m.) - Oak Mountain Academy
This classic basketball tournament raises funds to benefit area Breast Cancer Research and Awareness, including Tanner's Mammogram Assistance Fund. There will be a $5 suggested donation. www.westgatech.edu/sa/homecoming.html for additional information.

All proceeds provide mammograms and other diagnostic tests for women in the community, through a Tanner fund established in memory of Ruby Sue Green, a West Georgia Ambulance employee who lost her battle with breast cancer. Tanner Medical Foundation’s Choirs for Cancer
Thursday, Nov. 13, 7:00 p.m. - Joshua R. Mabry Center for the Arts at Carrollton High School
Exciting concert experience benefiting local cancer patients and featuring Babbie Mason, OK2, The Georgia Spiritual Ensemble, The Sand Hill Patriot Chorus from Sand Hill Elementary School, and The Choirs for Cancer Community Choir directed by Jack Gantt in a performance created exclusively for this event! Honoring Those Who Have Battled Cancer
During the 2014 Choirs for Cancer concert, we will honor those who have fought, or are fighting cancer with an on-screen tribute.
