Emily Rooks, MD, Joins Tanner Primary Care of Carrollton

Emily Rooks, MD, a family practice physician, is joining the patient care team of Kathryn Bain, MD; Yelena Makori, MD; Frederick Makori, MD; and Isaac Vargas, DO, at Tanner Primary Care of Carrollton, part of Tanner Medical Group.
Dr. Rooks earned her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed her residency in family medicine at Atlanta Medical Center, where she served as the chief family medicine resident. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Rooks looks forward to serving Carrollton, where she resides with her husband, Weyman Rooks, and their children Rachel, Rebekah, Atticus, Grayson and Asa.
Tanner Primary Care of Carrollton offers a wide range of services, including treatment for acute illnesses, minor skin surgery, health maintenance services, chronic disease management, annual physical exams, women's wellness and more.
