Delivering daily

One of the best reasons for going into OB/GYN care is the opportunity of being part of your big day.

Our providers specialize in ensuring that you have a safe and healthy delivery, from your first visit when you’re thinking of having a baby through your delivery.

We respect your wishes, work with you and your partner, and work to ensure your health — and the health of your baby — are our top priorities.

Labor and delivery

Guiding you to a safe and healthy delivery is our main goal. When you’re ready to deliver, we’re here.

We need to see you at the hospital when:

  • Your water breaks
  • You have heavy bleeding
  • You may be in labor and you are having regular contractions every five minutes for an hour

Whether you’re planning to deliver at Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica, please enter through the emergency department. The staff at each hospital will transport you to the appropriate unit for your labor and delivery suite.

High-risk pregnancies

Sometimes, you and your baby need special attention. When it comes to the health of you and your unborn baby, it is essential to find a provider who is trained to treat all of your medical needs.

You can trust our providers to be knowledgeable and experienced to treat any situation that may arise. We treat many high-risk pregnancies each year, including gestational diabetes, incompetent cervix, high blood pressure, multiple births and others.

Allow our providers to help you during this period of your life can result in a stress-free pregnancy that will exceed your expectations.

NICU services

You’ll have access to the level III NICU at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, ensuring your baby (or babies) have the advanced care needed for the best start in life.

Our NICU keeps you close to your baby in the days after delivery. Bond with your baby and build your family, close to home.

Specialized obstetrics care

Nurses are on duty in labor and delivery — 24 hours a day — to answer your questions if you are unsure about coming in.

If you call our office or are connected with the answering service and we do not return your call within 20 minutes, please call the hospital and let them know.

3-D ultrasound

Her father’s eyes? Her grandmother’s nose? Our 3-D ultrasound service is a non-diagnostic scan that gives you images of your baby so clear, you might even see a family resemblance.

We recommend that these ultrasounds be done between 27-29 weeks to get the best pictures of your baby, but this can be scheduled any time you choose. Ask us about our 3-D ultrasound packages during your next appointment.
