Timothy S.E. Albert, MD, Joins Tanner Heart & Vascular Specialists

Tanner Health System’s heart services are expanding as Timothy Albert, MD, joins Tanner Heart & Vascular Specialists, part of Tanner Medical Group.
Dr. Albert earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency at the University of Washington Department of Medicine in Seattle. He also completed a fellowship in cardiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
Prior to joining Tanner, Dr. Albert served as medical director of the Ryan Ranch Center for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging with the Salinas Valley Memorial Health System in Monterey, Calif., and president of Central Coast Cardiology in Salinas, Calif. He also served as an assistant consulting profession of medicine in the division of cardiology the department of medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
With Tanner, Dr. Albert will use an innovative approach to diagnostic cardiac imaging — including using state-of-the-art technologies such as cardiac MRI, cardiac computed tomography (CT) and cardiac positron emission tomography (PET) — to provide detailed images of the heart without catheterization, enhancing comfort and safety for patients.
