Tanner Offering Educational Discussion on Women’s Urinary Issues Aug. 15
Thursday, July 20, 2017
For women, urinary problems — such as losing urine involuntarily, having difficulty emptying the bladder, frequently waking from sleep to urinate during the night, frequent urinary tract infections, pain in the pelvis or bladder and more — are not often the topic of conversation.
But they are among the issues that will be covered during an upcoming women’s-only educational discussion hosted by Tanner Health System on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.
James Cullison, MD — a board-certified urologist with a subspecialty in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery with West Georgia Urology and a member of the medical staff of Tanner Health System — will discuss common urologic issues and the advanced treatment options available.
The discussion is free to attend and dinner will be provided. Registration is required. Those interested can register themselves and one guest online at www.tanner.org/control or by calling 770.214.CARE (2273).
Complimentary valet parking will be available at the Dixie Street entrance to the hospital. Women only, please.
The discussion is part of Tanner’s Advancing Your Health Education Series, providing residents with access to free health information from the region’s leading health experts and covering a wide range of topics, including heart disease, orthopedics, behavioral health, women’s care and more. Other upcoming opportunities can be found in the Classes and Events calendar at www.tanner.org/calendar.
