Lower Body Lift

Overtime, factors like age, childbirth, gravity and daily life can impact your hips, thighs and lower back. A lower body lift, also known as a belt lipectomy, can help rejuvenate and boost your confidence.

Consider combining it with a tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, to achieve a flatter and tighter stomach with just one incision.

What is a lower body lift?

A lower body lift is a plastic surgery technique that reshapes your abdomen, hips, thighs and buttocks. It is an ideal procedure for patients who have lost a significant amount of weight and are dealing with loose or sagging skin.

The surgeon makes an incision in a belt-life pattern from the lower abdomen to the back region. Excess skin and fatty tissue are removed or repositioned to achieve the desired shape. The overstretched skin is tightened, resulting in a more contoured body. It's important to note that this surgery is considered major and does leave a permanent scar, although it can generally be concealed below underwear.

How much does a lower body lift cost?

A lipectomy is considered a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by insurance. Fee quotes are given at the time of consultation and start at $8,925 (depending on what additional procedures may be required). This includes the physician charge, facility fee, anesthesia fee, pre-operative visit, post-operative visits for up to three months, as well as dressings and garments.
